GDPR – Privacy Policy

At Fitle, we collect and process data according to our Privacy Policy, incorporating Fitle’s values: transparency, accessibility, common sense, compliance, and practicality. Our privacy policy is part of our general terms of use.

We integrate confidentiality and the protection of personal data into the design of all our projects (organizational, technical, marketing, commercial, etc.). At Fitle, the collection and processing of personal data are appropriate to the purpose pursued by this processing.

We act as subcontractors for our client brands and are responsible for processing personal data related to our offerings; whether this processing aims to fulfill the commercial contract we have with them or serves our internal needs for continuous improvement of our solutions.

Data Collection and Use

Plug-in

To provide a size recommendation to the consumer, our algorithm must collect their gender, age, height, and weight data through proprietary event tracking. This recommendation can be further enhanced by adding morphological data and reference brands, which are optional. All this information is stored on our servers, as well as locally in the web browser of the client brand’s user, allowing for automatic size recommendations on other products without requiring them to fill in their information each time, thereby offering a better user experience. Additionally, we generate a tracking identifier, which is a random sequence of numbers and letters. This identifier is linked to the web browser and not to the user themselves.

Parameters such as language and device are also stored locally to provide a personalized plug-in based on the user’s known preferences.

Clicks are also tracked to help us better understand user behavior and provide them with the best possible experience.

The IP address, browser version, operating system, and timestamp are also tracked and are used solely to quickly resolve any malfunctions.

Aggregated data on products, e-commerce performance, and morphologies/physical characteristics are then produced in a secure and private dashboard used by Fitle and its clients to improve customer experience, future collections, or the supply chain. This data is retained for 36 months to generate knowledge within the Fitle Product team and also to allow our clients to enhance their offerings and performance.

Only one cookie is still placed on the e-commerce sites of our partner brands; it includes a copy of the tracking identifier of the web browser used by the user. It was used in the previous version of our size recommendation plug-in. This cookie is now obsolete; we no longer use it and it will be completely removed with the update of our solution across all our clients.

Fitle Website

To initiate a collaboration with a prospect and demonstrate our plug-in, our form must collect the following information: first name, last name, email address, phone number, company name, URL of the site where Fitle will be integrated, how the contact learned about us, and optionally, their monthly sales amount. This is to allow our sales team to qualify each prospect and provide them with the right information.

This information is kept for 36 months to enable our sales team to follow up with its contacts.

How do we ensure data anonymization?

Plug-in

Fitle does not collect data that can identify a consumer. To process the data, we generate a random tracking identifier. This identifier is linked to the browser and not to the user.

The goal is to anonymously detect whether the browser has previously been used for a size recommendation and link that browser to the correct purchasing flow; this helps us process data on product page visits, size recommendations, products added to the cart, orders, and returns. For example, if multiple browsers are used by the same user, multiple tracking identifiers will be randomly generated and treated as potentially different individuals. Therefore, we cannot identify anyone, either in isolation or in combination, with this information.

IP addresses, collected via a Sentry tag, are only used to correct malfunctions. They are stored and secured in Sentry.

We do not use the information of our prospects or partners outside of our commercial exchanges with them regarding our products.

About Advertising

None of our data is processed for advertising purposes.

  • Store and access information (cookies, others) on a device.

How does our algorithm use data to make a size recommendation?

Based on the physical and morphological information and the brands typically used for clothing by each user, our size recommendation tool can deduce their measurements; this relies on thousands of similar profiles in the population. These measurements are then compared with the measurements of the product.

User Rights over Their Data

Since all our collected data is anonymous, we cannot link the stored data to anyone.

However, users have complete control over the storage in their browser and can delete their data at any time and be considered as new users.

For any requests regarding data, you can contact us at: direction@fitle.com.

We commit to resolving any requests for access, opposition, limitation, rectification, deletion, or portability of personal data within a maximum of 5 business days.
